IN THE NEWS
We are especially proud to continue a much loved and needed tradition of giving out frozen turkeys before the holidays in the heart of downtown Toronto, near the intersection of Bathurst and Bloor. We adopted this amazing way of giving back to the community in 2016 with our local partners after Honest Eds closed its doors, and its annual turkey giveaway. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our annual Turkey Give will look a little different this year. Freeman Real Estate has partnered with Spirit of Math, Fiesta Farms and local city councillors for a Holiday Grocery Drop in support of St. Alban’s Boys and Girls Club, St. Peter's Church, and Beth Sholom Synagogue kosher foodbank. We’re holding a Shopping Cart Parade at Fiesta Farms to fill bags with groceries and deliver to families in need. Thank you for taking the time to read some of this information and hopefully you can come out next year (2021) and pick up a Turkey for yourself or someone else that you know needs it more.

The retail institution at Bloor and Bathurst is closing its door at year’s end, and its handing out of Christmas turkeys — an annual event for almost 30 years — might have gone with it, had a neighbour not stepped in, starting this weekend. And so Karen Koh showed up at 9 a.m., armed with a collapsible chair and a big backpack for her bird, not at Honest Ed’s but at Freeman Real Estate, a local business a short walk away which decided to fill the void....[more]
